Besides fulfilling their daily assignments, many of the students are given extra jobs to be done for the faculty, Under the guidance of well informed teachers, pupils of the commercial department are not only trained but are being prepared for what may be their future occupation. Ability to mem- orize, concentrate, and be neat are all necessities which are expected of students of this department in order for them to succeed. Each day employers of business officials and large concerns call for men and women with ability to do typing and shorthand. Those taking this course in high school have not wasted their time, for they are prepared to take on the responsibility of a job and proceed on their journey of business.
