President The Senior Class As we entered the hugh school ID the second week of September, 1950, we were a group of happy yet a little frightened, students However, after we be came acquainted with the school and classes, we be f st, gan to enter into the activities During our freshman 'W--'Y year, under the direction of Mr Whrttemore, we had several parties, which were a lot of fun By the time we became sophomores we thought we were really bug shots, because then we were no longer the youngest in the school and could say a little more about act vutnes We agam had several parties, but this tame our advisor was Mrs Edberg who continued in that capacity for the remaining two years Our lunlor year was Indeed highlighted by the lunlor senior banquet, for which we had worked very hard We chose the Coronation as our theme, since it was the coronatlon year The banquet was held at the Del Puerto Hotel in Patterson That year also meant much to the boys of the class, who really be gan to participate in sports and were a real asset to the school During this year we had many good parties and much fun doing things and going places as a class Our boys participated in sports and really did well, considering the handicap of having no gymnasium in which to practice There were eight members of our class who were very loyal to Denalr, having gone to school here for all twelve years We had a wonderful time on each of our field traps, first to San Juan Bautista Mission, and later to see the state assembly at work In Sacramento Our senior ditch day too was grand Finally, we were honored by the lumors at a beautiful banquet The climax of our four years together was our graduation, which we had anticipated for a long time As we look back over the past four years, we as a class realize that these perhaps have been the best four years of our lives 'V V-u-.7 YT 0 I Il ' ll ,, . ,, . . .
