Charlie was everybody's friend. He lived his life serving those friends. There was no job too big, E00 wllgll, too insignificant for him, especially when those friends needed him. There was almost nothing he could not do. His friends say that if you wanted the High School gym moved, call Charlie and you knew it would be done. ' A car accident took Charlie's life, but not our memory of him. Nothing could do that. Ile was one of the most unselfish persons anyone could know. There was always a smile I never saw him frown. He was an excellent student and admired by those whose lives he touched. Ile loved DHS and Auburn and gave them the best he had. His family and his faith were his source of strength, and he loved them beyond words. He said so. Ilis life demonstrated kindness, gentleness, quiet confidence, courage, in- qenuity, and a genuinely sterling character. Greater love hath no man, than he lay down his life for a friend. And Charlie was everybody's friend. We. will miss him and we will remember him - A quiet, yet strong young man whose life was to serve. 0 J. T.
