s f l im l Class Makes Big Move The freshmen class have finally tnade the big move, from being jr. highers to high schoolers even though they still have class in the same buildings. They can now participate in clubs, sports, dances, and most of all the fun! Their first taste of the fun was the Barnwarminh Nearly the entire freshmen class showed up for the dance. Craig Carnell said that the things he liked about the ninth grade was that there are more field trips and the guys can take ag. The freshmen class had six guys and two girls playingjr. varsity basketball. The president of the class, Jeanne Friedrich, was elected treasurer of the student council. Most ofthe class members belonged to the clubs open to them. They were eligible to join: pep club, science club, FFA, FHA, and varsity club if they played basketball. The offi- cers ofthe class were: Pres, Jeanne Friedrichg Vice Pres, Brandon Swindellg Treasurer Kirby Rhodes and the student council representatives were Ira Gibbons and Chris Carnell.
