F. College Credit Comes To Delta For the first time in Delta High's history, students could receive college credit for classes taken on the high school campus, lf a student enrolled in algebra, chemistry, and English, he could receive up to 16 hours of college credit, transferable to any college available. 1. College chemistry students, Tim and Andy, work through a particularly difficult problem with Mr. Jacobson. 2. The winning math team was composed mostly of students from the college algebra class. The team consisted of Valinda Jensen, Mrs. Conant, Kelly Nickle, Tim Schmanski, Dean Anderson, James Peterson, Phil Ralphs, David Kozina, Rich- ard Jacobson, Tom Ashby, and Andy Gemperline. Joel Finlinson and Roger Smith were also in the class. 3. The team won Snow College Math Jock t-shirts for winning the snow competition. ll. Twelve students worked through the rigorous freshman English class. They were Tim Schmanski, Joel Finlinson, Kelly Nickle, David Kozina, Stacy Stuart, Phil Ralphs, Lisa Hardy, Jill Shipley, DeAnn Dews- nup, Sharon Rowlette, Brenda Lowder, and Sandra Crop- per. ...rr ill FN ,A
