3 Y A 'Til death do you a part, or until Friday night at midnight, which ever omes first was one of the phrases that was heard many times in the alls of DHS as several couples took wedding vows for Sadie Hawkins Day. Girls Chase And Chase-Boys The girls were given three days to catch their man Some of the guys, like Rick Tolley, wouldn't give up even after the girl had tackled them in the hall. A few couples went all out for their wedding. They had cakes, flowers, and photographers at the ceremony which was conducted by a varsity cheerleader in a flowing choir robe. Tim and Marsha agreed that a handshake would do instead ofa kiss. 2. Don'l you ever give up, Kyla? 3. Brian and Virginia practiced in the halls for the dance. 4. De- spite many set-baclis, the dance was the best attended ol the year. Other activities besides dancing included a mechanical bull, a pop drinking con- test, and silent movies. 1. Cary Brunson won the senior division ot the bull riding contest. 2. During the delay caused by mechanical failure, Rich Cropper amused the crowd. 3.
