1978 900 616241313 It is easy to be a good winner, and it has happened so often here at Delta High, that sometimes we forget how it is to lose. 1978 was a building year for us, but regardless of that, our young men gave a good accounting of themselves. It is hard to go out week after week and take the hard work and the bumps and bruises necessary to keep the game going, and it must be doubly hard when you are not winning all the time. And yet they carried on, all the way to the play-offs. Jeff Schena and Jeff Brunson received All State rewards for their efforts.
