VVe met new teachers and renewed 21 acquaintances with the old ones in the open- ing assembly. Got our books and settled down for some hard studying. 25 lil Football boys romped over to Delta and got their ears pinned back. Score 123-ll. 250 IX Class elections. The new oft'icers we put up with all year were picked. 20 The team journeyed to Ely. Putting it mild. they got beat. You write the score .. .,,.....,,,l. het-em 27 Pep club gave an assembly. The Fillmore ti l-Iagles came over for the -first league game. which they copped to the tune of 27-0. October' ll-l 2 4 Wasatch trims the Mustangs on our own field. 20 it l1'reshie initiation day. The Sophomore-s took a beating when they tried to do the deed. .X his Fros-h-Soph gang fight topped off the day. VVe missed two whole days of school for the l'. E. A. convention. anna, lx Hinckley got tiounced again. North Sanpete tg did it by 25-lil. 28 A glly preached to the students about social security. XVe missed fourth period. though. In November V. I oi Tryouts t'or the school play. Missed second per- iod t'or book week assembly. X The final tussle of the football season. Delta. 21 our blood rivals, walked oft' with the game by .LN-tl. ll 'l ne .Mnerican Legion gave the Armistice day assembly. Missed fourth pe1'iod. Annual foot' hall banquet provided SOIIIP swell eats. Ijtltft' r I Senior hop. Quite an exclusive affair, Seniors came out on top, too. Thanksgiving holiday. We got a much needed rest. Ho Hum! School begins with a fresh start. Class series began. Sophomores cleaned up the tournament in fine style. The Juniors took the Seniors' challenge and gave an excellent assembly. ber The Seniors' had their turn at an assembly. The faculty said that the Senior assembly out- ranked the Juniors'g consequently. a party was i'0l'mC0l11il12. School Play, The Lillies of the Field. Best ever presented at the H. H. S.. so they say. School folds up while Santa t'laus makes his annual visit. X School opens again following two whole weeks of vacation which was sufficient to recuperate from the holidays. I-'irst league basketball game ot' the season. On our floor, too. Fillmore romped off with the game by 39-30. F. F. A. presented an assembly. Hurrah! fVe won a ball game. lleaver couldn't stop the charge of the Mustang and got swept under. 2:3-2X. The big Yearbook drive and Queen contest went over with a bang! Mustang stafl' gave their vtrsion oi an assembly. Hinckley journeyed to Milford on the train timagine thatl and trim- med them by a mere one point. S15-134.
