Earl Stanworth. lflora VVoodal1. and Phyllis Davis were elected as class officers. A successful year ensued in which the Freshies' only real activity was Freshie Day. Then came the Sophomore year. and Loren llowley. Virginia Maxfield, and Venice Cropper were at the helm of the ship and guided the class safely through the second Year of High School Activities. Next followed the Junior year. and the Junior Proln. Fashioned after the Northern Lights, it was a terrific success, under the competent leadership of President Howard Jensen and his officers. Mary Pratt and Phyllis Davis. And then in September of 1940. -ll seniors started down the long road that led to the end of high school life and to the gates of a college education and higher attainment. For I2 years they had struggled to get all they could from the school of life as well as from the school of education. And now at the dawning of a new way of life. they are ready. a little bewildered perhaps. but willing to go forward and seek the best. Commencement will be a crowning climax of those I2 years spent in getting ready to go on into realms of something better than what they already haveg and from there they will move along to take their places among those of our future leaders. The outstanding Senior activities were guided by President, Virginia Maxfieldg Vice President. Irene Holt: and Secretary. Ada Bennett: with Mr. I.owell Bennett acting as Class Adviser. l'.1gfr .Vim'e--
