FOPEWORD 31 ESTLED in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains is the Village of Delhi, the county seat of Delaware County. On a hill overlooking the village stands Delaware Academy. The people of Delhi take great pride in their school, which for nearly a century and a quarter has educated their youth. Our beautiful building and all that our school offers us for work and fun prove this. We who have lived here and attended Dela- ware Academy realize that all around us are evidences that this community has greatly in- fluenced us. From it we have received many of our customs, traditions and characteristics to be carried on through the years. Through the art work in our book we have tried to give the impression that this is an agri- cultural section. The pen and ink sketches re- mind us of familiar spots around the village.
