A. ever had. 1945-46: The freshman class comes to life Ill--We joined everything--Fred, Lewis, Francisco began the football season in uniform--Bill, Hank, Fred, Bruce 'B -'Y lg 3 3 X I 32551-1' I v in 45 3 played IV ball--Hank, Student Council rep--Gus, president--hayride fun for all-- C5 6 a 0 chaperons Mr. Clarkson - Miss Bailey - we take credit for that romance--Christ- 1 mas party with winkum --Rigas tastes mercury - Mr. Vosburgh aghast--Leal X collects dues--called angels by Miss Aitchison - barbarians by Mr. Lind--Class of 5 'PE 5 4 '50 off to a good start!!! X Q l ss 1946-47:' 20 straight games - Ithaca, here we come--Bulldogs in 1950's class, H Q Little, Terry--gay Soph Hop - work and fun - Valentines galore - '50 takes credit sae for beginning the now traditional Hop--Hank-and Betsy, Council reps--Ed, president IX ' 4 ' -- Perchettes kick the notes around - Glenna, jean, Bub--won both Christmas 1 decoration prizes - originality and ability--picnic at-Gilbert Lake - Hank lent his pants to poor, water-logged Betsy. 1947-48: The jolly Juniors - headed by Gus - prepared for a year of appoint- ments, honors, campaigns--Ed, Gus, Marcia J. tapped for Honor Society--Jean, Anne, X Ioan, Harold, Ed selected for Quill and Scroll--Glenna, for her second year, and Bub, X 4 for her first, cheering IV's to victory--wonderful banquet--Fred, the lovely, Beauti- X '-,tg a ful Belinda, Bloomgarten--Edwards, the terrible villain-- Are You Mr. Butterworth? -- Gotta use that little old beanllln--Ed and Bub race for S. C. president - Ed wins in close run--year ends with Under Water Fantasy - Club 50 --Jean crowned lovely Queen - Bruce, the handsome King--Mrs. Arbuckle - The children did it alll? I --What a help she was! 1949-50: The year of years--our last--felt a little sorry that our wonderful times would soon end- -Hank our president- Bill, vice - Gus, secretary - Frank, treasurer--Ed president of S. C.--joan, editor of Mountain-Ear and president of Cain Raisers--Anne editor of Kalends - lean art editor--last three mentioned tapped for Honor Society--Jean and Hank have leads in jenny Kissed Me --spon- sored magician show--most glorious of all Senior Balls--many of our fellow help Bulldogs in football and basketball--Gus, Vivian, Betsy and Bub on Girls' Varsity-- with all our money - Washington bound--stuffed with education--Baccalaureate-- Class Night- -finally Commencement--four years gone so soon--Miss Tubb's famous statement - Best class I ever had' --Goodbye and good luck to good old D.
