EARL CAVAN, Clerk SINCE September of l4l, when we started another year of warring against ignorance, we have been successfully led by our Board of Education, the flight commanders of Dela- ware Academy and Central School. Throughout the fall football, the winter basketball and the spring baseball, the boys of the athletic teams have had the wholehearted support of their superior officers, who often have been there themselves to cheer on their friends and their neighbors. This is but one instance of the cooperation between the officers and their men, and with such harmony as that, how could this year have been anything but beneficial? We believe we speak for every student in Delaware Academy and in the surrounding districts when we say that we appreciate the true and loyal services the Board has so will- ingly given us. Now, more than ever before, we, the future America, have needed the guidance of the Board and we truly realize what has been done and is being done for us. - g-,S A ,gin i L 4 41 8 - -
