THE D ATH A D LIFE The Del Norte drama students presented the very dramatic play, The Death and Life of Larry Benson. The play was about Danny Holms who adopted the ldentlty of hls close war buddy, Larry Benson, when Larry was killed In actlon. Danny, really bellevlng he was Larry, returned to Larry's home, where each member of the family reacts differently to thls stranger. The students portrayed thelr emotional parts extremely well. The audl- ence was deeply moved. The success of The Death and Life of Larry Benson de- pended a great deal on a smooth-working stage crew. Fortunately Dennls Blea and his crew never fouled up once. They spent many hours settlng up the stage and synchronizing all the sound effects. All the props were ready, on tlme, and In the rlght place. These were the things that made The Death and Life of Larry Benson a blg success. STAGE CREW: Dennis Blea, Kelvln Yund, Steve Skaffl Jlm Swartz. The make-up committee worked as professionally as any Broadway crew. They managed to make faces deplct age and character authentically. Thus all the actors appeared reallstlc to the audience. With a hard working stage crew to keep things running smoothly behlnd the scenes and a talented cast, the perfor- mances were a great success.
