CHRISTIAN YOUTH GROUP INSPIRES THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBER This year a new group was formed in our school. They have had a great time planning activities and sharing events in their everday life. Their goal is to recognize students and understand each other as individuals through God's love, with no specific religion as a requirement to join. The group's activities consisted of showing some educational films at the high school: three of the titles were: The Cross and the Switchbladen, Thief in the Night , and Distant Thunder . The organization has been enjoyed by those who participated. The purpose for this group is to unite the Anglo and Spanish students interested in learning about the Spanish culture. The club has met weekly throughout the year promoting a recruitment drive. To help raise money, they have sold burritos every Tuesday and Thursday. A trip was planned by the group to visit Iuarez, Mexico, in the spring. Receiving support from both the community and the school has made the year enjoyable for all who participated.
