Freshmen Marilyn Carroll, Glenn Bayliss, Bill Wilhelm, and Y P t These students found their first year as full-fledged citizens of DHS most prosperous and enioyable. They chose as their leaders Yvonne Partee, president, Bill Wilhelm, vice-president, Marilyn Carroll, secretary, and Glenn Bayliss, treasurer. Their treasury was built up by checking hats and coats at basketball games. Among the outstanding events of the year was the mas- querade party held at the Power Dam Park skating rink. Looking forward with keen anticipation to the remaining three years at our school is upper- most in the minds of these neophytes. We wish the class of '49 lots of success in the future.
