45 Diane Albert, Myra Gcrshenson, I.intla Stoddard, Ronnie Dalton Call Pineberg Pat Clark ur Needs Are Always Taken Care Any student seeking a book for pleasure or doing detailed research work may go to the library. The re- vatnpetl library, which has more books than ever be- fore, has something to suit everyone's taste. Volunteers from the Library Club relieve Mrs. Doane of some of the routine work of checking books out and helping students to fincl what they are seeking, filing and cata- loguing new selections, and keeping the cards and books in ortler. Due to the use of the library as homeroom and classroom, most of the activity goes on after school. However, as the selection in the library becomes more varied. the library. itself, becomes more popular. During the three recesses and after school, swarm- ing hordes of hungry Deeringites invade the cafeteria to purchase milk, ice cream, snacks or a full-course clin- ner. This flurry of activity never daunts the cafeteria stall. .X group of talented and efficient cooks prepare the lootl, which is solcl by student workers.
