PATHFINDER'S PARENT TEACHERS ASSOC. The Pathfinders' Parent Teacher Association officers for the school year 1951-1952 are: David Frickson, President, Mrs. Charles A. Roberts, Recording Secretary, Ralph B. Young, 2nd Vice- presidentg Mrs. Raymond N. Smith, Correspond- ing Secretary, Ralph M. Snyder, Treasurer, Mrs. Louis R. Farley, Past President. The Pathf'ind.ers' P.T.A. in common with other units of the National Congress works on three levels: local, state, and national. This association is in its second year of exist- ence, succeeding Pathfinders' Mothers Club, which had a long and proud history. ORCHESTRA MOTHER'S CLUB 41-if The Deering High School Orchestra Mothers' 6 Club has a membership of forty-Eve. -4 Officers elected for the year of 1951-1952 are 'Q 5 President, Mrs. Randal Gullifer, Vice-President, A Mrs. Gerald Oliver, Secretary, Mrs. Guelbert Little, Treasurer, Mrs. Frlon Ryeson. Through various projects the Orchestra Mothers' Club has raised money to aid in Festival preparations and to provide for the entire orches- tra. Mrs. Lamb Mrs. Gullifcr BAND 1VIOTHER'S CLUB The Band Mothers' Club of Deering High School was organized in 1937 to support the band and its activities. It provides and maintains uniforms, takes care of instrument repairs and replacements, and finances trips to the State and New England Music Festivals. Money-making projects this year to take care of these services have included rummage sales, an auction with snack-bar and cooked-food sale, continued cookbook sale, a dessert-bridge, and a coffee-reading. Ofiicers for 1951-1952 are Mrs. Myron U. Lamb, president, Mrs. Alvin A. Morrison, vice- president, Mrs. Dorrance A. Douglass, secretary, Mrs. Manville D. Cushmen, treasurer. I8
