It would be a barren waistland, a giant desert, dead trees, weeds, and dust blowing in the wind, nothing!Well, maybe not that bad, but without it vve'd lose a iot ot traditions, a lot of activities, and prob- ably a lot ot potential memories. i'Student government is the governing body ot Deer Valley, The administration! staff often consults us on issues and deci- sions. We try to make Deer Valley as pleasant and as memorable as possible. Ot course we are the coordinators ot many fun activities, but we also try to be involved with as many politically orien- tated issues on campus, said Student Body President Chris Kieselbach. There are so many activities and func- tions on campus that student government sponsors, They also coordinate the activi- ties and fundraisers of the numerous clubs on campus, Without that there would be chaos. lt's also an important link between the students and the administra- tion. Want to get into student government? lt's not easy.
