OPENING DAY ENRGLLIVIENT ou had nightmares about it for weeks. Just r thinking about it made you ' claustrophobic. It was the dreaded , first day, and last year the crowded halls, classes, and parking lots were enough to make you wish you were still in the sixth grade. This year could only be worse. Right? Wrong! With the district's second high school open, DV's student population dropped Jennifer Jones, senior, offers assistance dent, Frank Raskow, senior. over 1200. l-lard to believe? Butt nevertheless, there you were , A September 2nd, able to iiri breathe., Able to see both, sides of the jhalls Able to sit at a desk, and not on the floor. Able to park at this high school, instead of Greenway. Fiight then, you knew it. It was going to be a special year. Things were changing, and definitely for the better. g
