l CONCENTRATING ON THE NEED FOR READING eading can open the door to a different world for many people. lt can entertain and enlighten the reader. Without reading it would be almost impossible to communicate and quite frustrating to live. The reading courses here focus mainly on individual reading skills. There were approximately 450-500 students in all of the classes. Diane Fiest. r There is a tutoring program in which reading students are sent to elementary schools to work with the younger kids. The tutors worked on all subjects.
