ou had your complaints back then. Too many guards. Too much homework. Too little sleep. But you never complained that there were not enough classes to take. There was something for everyone. From jazz band, metals class, keyboarding, and sewing to photography, drama, band and autos to speech, R.O.T.C., painting and word processing to electronics, Spanish, German, French and astronomy to agriculture, ceramics, computers, dance and journalism. No matter what you did, there was a way to do it. So maybe you learned a foreign language, in order to broaden your horizons, or joined R.O.T.C., so that you could get into the armed forces. No matter what you took, each of you learned something and put it to good use. When you walk out of your office knowing you closed that new contract with that important executive from another country, or when your kids thank you for raising their allowance another hundred dollars with the money you made with that new program that you wrote, remember where you first learned those skills and proudly thank Deer Valley, your school.
