The philosophy of the Deer Valley High School Cross Country program is to provide each individual with an opportuni- ty to develop his or her physical, mental, and social capabilities following the prin- ciples of presenting a positive attitude, super effort, discipline and dedication within the spirit of friendly competition. l think the team had a good season be- cause of all the super team effort out there on the courses, said Renata Can- non, junior. On November 19, Cross Country had its awards banquet at The Club in Bellair. Letters and special awards were present- ed.
