I wanted to meet people and get really involved in my school, and student government seemed the best way to do it. , she said. Apparently it was, for on September ninth, Tracey was elected as the president of the class ot '90, This was not Tracey's first experience in student government activities. t'ln seventh grade, l was a representa- tive and in eighth grade l had been elected Vice-President. Her back- ground shows that Tracey pos- sesses the experience and leader- ship qualities tor the job of class president. I wanted to get the freshman more involved in what goes on in their school, and to help it out in any way possible. , Tracey replied when asked why she wanted to become president. Tracey also said that she planned to stay involved with stu- dent government the remainder ot her high school years.
