E GIRL DREAMS DF BROADWAY f you see a petite fe- male, hiding behind her long brown and blonde hair, you've found Deana Scott, ju- nior. Deana is currently a dance 5-6 student here at Deer Valley and her class was taught by Miss Meyers. She says her favorite type of dance is ballet then tap. Deana took classes at THE DANCE Sl-IOPPE which is located at 19th and Bell. The classes she took included ballet, modern, and tap. Some major influences for her are, Mikel Barish- nakov and Gene Kelly. When asked what she JUNIORS wanted to do after graduation, she replied, When l graduate, l want to attend the Uni- versity of Southern Cali- fornia or the University of Los Angeles and re- ceive a masters degree in dance. Her ambition is to dance on Broadway. But if that doesn't happen, she would like to be a chor- eographer. On weekends and in her spare time, she likes to attend football games, school dances, go shop- ping and go to Chapter 11.
