Lisa Cota has been an advisor to the Senior Class since they were freshmen. After four years, she feels closer than ever to the seniors. Mrs. Cota teaches American histo- ry and sociology and feels that both are important classes to take. Sociology makes you aware of problems and how to get help. lf it's a problem, we talk about it. Mrs. Cota has two children - Ste- phen, 7, and Samantha, 3. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University and has a l3.A.E. ll3ach- elor of Arts and Educationl and a M.Ed. lMasters of Educationl de- gree. She moved here from Ft. Lauder- dale, Florida and has lived here 9 years. Besides advising the Senior Class, she is also the Pep Squad sponsor and is one of the most spirited teachers in the school. ln her spare time she tries to raise her family and root for the Miami Dolphins as much as possible. The best part of being the Senior Class advisor is that Mrs. Cota feels close to the class members. lt's nice to have someone ask your ad- vice on upcoming events.
