ll!! i, 'lu is Ilia -v fStanding, left to rightb Mr. Watson, sponsorg Nor- man Whitley-Presidentg Frankie Hyman-Parlia- mentariang Raymond Archer-Vice-Presidentg Mrs Senio Here we are at last! It sure has been a tough climb up the ladder, but as we look down this ladder, we can see other students following our footsteps, and it makes us feel good deep down inside. Thinking over the past years in high school, we realize that the entire faculty has helped us to get where we now are. Our deepest thanks go to Mr. Jones, Mr. Ridings, and other members of the faculty for being our guiding light and for helping us to choose the right path into the future. Without their help and guidance, we don't know what would have happened. Gee, we sure had a lot of fun during our last four years-the class meetings that were wild and the dances without a record player. It is all right to laugh about it now, but at the time it was not so funny.Without the help of Mrs. Johnson, our sophomore spon- sor, Miss Tolson and Mrs. Tozier, our junior sponsors, and Mr. Watson and Mrs. Tozier fwe drove her crazyl our senior sponsors, we could have never progressed up the lad- der of success so well. I' 2222 Tozier, sponsor. fSeated, left to rightl Charles Flem- ming, Secretary, Sue Ellis, Chaplaing Jerry John- son, Treasurer. Class One thing all seniors look forward to is the Senior Ring Dance. The big moment has arrived at last! Our rings were here! Each of the seniors walked around for about three weeks with their finger protruding fthe one with their ring on ith. It was a possession to be proud of. The thought I've finally made it raced through our minds, but we still couldnit be sure. Those exams We had to take were not real easy. All of us began sweating them out until we were sure we had passed. This year has been a busy, but happy one, and so have the other years. Though each one of us had to work real hard, we had more fun than a barrel of monkeys Cjust ask some of the teachersl. Our future looks bright to us, and so we end this wonderful crazy year. Just remember, it may seem a task to go to school, but you are truly rewarded after you have finished. P. S. There's no place like school.
