Class Song Tune: Some Sunday Morning To-day Alma Mater We'll all say good-bye To-day we will leave you, Dear old Deep Creek High. Thoughts will be saddened As class mates depart, Your memory lives in our heart. We'll face life's battle bravely Toss daily cares away, Face what the future brings us, Keep faith from day to day. To-day Alma Mater The school bells won't ring Classes won't assemble The glee club won't sing. The future looks misty, For each of us here, Farewell, Alma Mater, so dear. SENIORS FRANK DRAGON Frankie Dragon is as quiet as a mouse, For this reason his grades hit the top of the house, HARVEY SPENCER Harvey is a soda-jerking lad, With a beaming face that's never sad. N WELLS PEBWORTH Wells, with his scientic mind, As a scientist will make the future sublime. EUGENE WILLIAMS Eugene Williams who drives No. 8, The students are real glad when he is late. -HAROLD D1xoN.

A Glimpse of The Senior Class This herebysinessn concerns the strange and revealing happenings which took place shortly after Yay Knudson and Bah Aera quaffed two of the most potent Spencer Special Sundies during a brief bull session one fine evening in the dear old Deep Creek Coffee Shop. Boy and jay, experiencing the usual after effects of a Spencer Special, fell into an immediate faint and began to dream- THE DREAM After sailing over the salty, and to some, aging seas of time, we are welcomed aboard the S. S. Hornet by none other than Electricians mate 3rd Class Otto W. Pehworlh, who immediately shows us to the brig where he has been conducting his television experiments, seeing as he is there most of the time anyway. Wells plans to give us a glimpse of the world in this year of 1957. While the television set is warming up we take leave to introduce the visiting officials, Rear-Admiral Teddy Walker, who served with Kilroy in the K. P. campaign of World War ll. The ship's surgeon, Commander Phillip McCoy, and his pretty Wave assistant, Ensign Ruth Overhy, are on hand also just in case 3rd Mate Wells turns the wrong screw. Third Mate Pebworth now has the range and a new era in television is begun as we gaze upon a blurred purple and white image which, upon clearing, reveals the 'student body of dear old Deep Creek High, assembled in the auditorium to start the new year of '57 off right with an address by the new coach and Government teacher, Mr. George Widener. As Mr. Widener steams up the screen with his high Hown oratory the scene changes to Langley Field, where we find that noted husband and wife team of Avaitrix Mabel fManosJ Carey and her me- chanic husband ffack, who are preparing for a real honeymoon, they plan to land on the moon in seven days. As the exhaust gasses from the honeymoon clear we see those two outstanding missionaries, Brother Eugene Phillips and Sister Odessa Lewis of the Homefolks' Missionary Society, who are discussing the possibility of sending an expedition to Gilmerton, Va., where a character by the name of Chick fone: has organized the Reet-Vout School of Dancing til, with the help of that hep dancing instructor, Carrington jitterbug Hensley. The screen again clouds, and we find another view coming into focus, it's the main floor of the Hot Shot Dance Club where we see ffim Half Hitch Carey and his trombone, taking a short break from his Navy Band, consisting of clarinetist Harold Dixon and company, to flirt with bubble dancers ffeanelle Turner and Levilhan Award. As this scene becomes to hot to handle still another comes into view. It's Washington, D. C., where Senator l Object Preedy is now lilibustering for better parlimentary procedure in the Senate. Mr. Preedy is replacing the aging Senator Claghorn, who was recalled for leaving too many half-chewed ham hocks laying around the capitol grounds. A As Washington, D. C., fades off of the screen, we find a peaceful little scene coming into focus. lt's the little grey church around the corner, where Miss Sarah Dees and boy friend are going through the process of being hitched after a nice long engagement during which Sarah finished high school, college and several correspondence courses. As Sarah and her boy friend fade out in a cloud of rice and confetti, the scene changes to the little gymnasium halfway up in the next block, where we find muscle builder Eugene Williams and assistant muscle builder Mary Queenie Sykes, who are giving the new student of muscular culture, Frank Dragon, a special lesson in how to make the saying, ''the-bigger-they-are-the-harder-they-fall, come true. With a Hash the scene shifts to a tense, dramatic courtroom. where the brilliant QD lawyer, William Cuthriell, has just put aside his needle and thread after sewing up a tight case against the well known artist, Pete ffohnson. Pete says that it was all a mistake that he put Lincoln's picture on the wrong bill. Hummmmmm. Well, well, must be rush hour in the Bon Ton for those three super sales girls, Evelyn Parsons, Helen Biernot, and Margie Podruchny are ignoring the customers, in the best salesgirl tradition, and are discussing their new dream boy, ffimmie fohnson, who, after finally gaining additional stature, is the rage in professional football circles. ln a blinding Hash the huge chrome plated garage of the ffonesy Dump Truck Fleet, Inc., comes into view, where head driver Albert Podruchny and secretaries, Mercedes Brown and Delores Coughenour, are on strike for more wages from Mr. Bohhy Yones, a very conservative boss who doesn't believe in money. 1 U The scene again swiftly changes to the laboratory of scientists Harvey Spencer, who, due to his brilliant and fruitful experiments behind the soda fountain-of the D. C. Coffee Shop, was recently made chief research chemist in the department of animal and insect poisons at Du Pont Laboratory, Inc. Third Mate Wells set his losing power now but still another picture appears on the screen, yes, it's another hilarious goon cartoon by the famous cartoonist who ran Walt Disney out of business, none other than Mr. Dewey Sawyer. Dewey says cartooning would be alright if it wasn't for those little green men who come and sit on the edge of his drawing board. As Dewey's little green men vanish from the television screen, we see the used car millionaire Harry Adams, who isjust driving out of his used car lot of l00 Makes in the oldjalopy which was his first sale. CHe bought it back for sentimental reasonsl. Harry and his jalopy dissappear in a cloud of smoke and so does our dream. Soooo, we'll just shove this information in under the editor-in-chief's door, fold our hands and silently steal away. JAY and Bos.
