Officer in Militia, Selectman in Lynfield, and officer in various lodges and Grand Army Posts in Melrose, Mass. Now Station Agent N. Y. N. E. R. R. City Mills, Mass. Charles French Dunbar, son of Thomas and Hannah (French) Dunbar, was born Jan. 6, 1839, in South Boston. Attended the school two years and a term. Married Lucilla De Wolf Benston at Pelham, Ont., Oct. 28, 1861. Their chil- dren are Thomas, who died in infancy ; Harris Thomas ; Charles Edward, died aged three years ; Alice Hannah ; Frank- lin L., and Lucilla. Mr. Dunbar was President of Mechanics Institute, Port Colborn, Ont. Member of Common Coun- cil, Erie, Pa., two years ; has written for the stage ; also articles on current topics for the Press. Contractor of Public Works. 1247 Main St., Buffalo, JST. T. Mary Coolidge Everett, daughter of Francis and Mary N. Everett, was born Jan. 1, 1838, in Boston. Attended the school four years. Housekeeper. Dedham, Mass. Edward Crehore Farrington, son of Charles and Lydia D. Farrington, was born May 27, 1837, in Dedham. Died in Dedham, Aug. 7, 1865. Annie Baker Fessenden, daughter of Rev. John and Nancy (Baker) Fessenden, was born in Deerfield, Mass., July 3, 1836. Attended the school two years. Dedham, Mass. Henry G. B. Fisher, son of Freeman and Mary G. Fisher, was born in Boston about 1834. Attended the school one year. Served in the War of the rebellion. Entered the U. S. Navy as captain ' s clerk in 1861, ship Minnesota ; afterwards was secretary to Admiral Stringham, North Atlantic Squadron, and was with the Seward expedition to Japan. Married Mrs.

Agnes White Clark, daughter of Joseph W. and Eleanor (Jackson) Clark, attended the school one year. Married Charles Van Brunt. Boston, Mass, Isabelle Frances Cobb, daughter of Jonathan Holmes and Sophia (Doggett) Cobb, was born in Dedham, April 19, 1835. Attended the school one year. Married Frederic H. French, May 2, 1860, at Dedham. Their children are Isabelle C. Marion H., Anna R., Frank D., Frederic H., John D., and Abram. Dedham, Mass. Ellen Harod Crehore, daughter of Jeremiah and Joanna (Dunbar) Crehore, was born July 1, 1835, in Milton, Mass. Attended the school one year. Attended private schools in Roxbury and Boston. Mis s Crehore taught school fifteen years ; was a member of the School Board, Dedham, six years ; Secretary of Associated Charities, five years. Walnut Hill, Mass. Catherine Shapley Damrell, daughter of William S. and Adeline N. Damrell, was born in Boston, Nov. 9, 1835. Attended the school three years. Taught in the D wight School, Boston. Married John E. Gowland at Dedham, Dec. 27, 1858. Died in Dedham, Jan. 18, 1860. Mary E. B. Day, daughter of Joseph and Anna E. (Rhoades) Day, was born in South Dedham, Sept. 9, 1837. Attended the school one term. Married Francis M. Cragin, M. D., May 1, 1869. Died at Norwood, Mass., Aug. 1, 1888. James Spencer Drayton, son of James H. and Nancy D. Drayton, was born in Boston, Oct. 16, 1837. Frances Ellen Griggs, daughter of James and Abigail N. Griggs, was born in Dedham, Dec. 8, 1836. Taught schools in Walpole, Dover, Dedham and Norwood. Married David Neal, March 7, 1860, at Dedham. Their children are Carrie E., born Aug. 31, 1862; Edgar L., born Jan. 8, 1869. Dedham, Mass. Abby E. Guild, daughter of Joseph and Sarah H. (Smith) Guild, was born Sept. 3, 1833, in Dedham. Attended the school one year. Dedham, Mass. George Austin Guild, son of Francis and Caroline E. (Covel) Guild, was born in Dedham, June 6, 1836. Attended the school one year. Married Abby Cobb at Dedham, Jan. 23, 1861. Tbeir children are Abby Elizabeth, 27 ; Sophia D., 23 ; Jonathan F., 17. Mr. Guild is an officer in various lodges, and Chief Engineer of Dedham Fire Department. Watchmaker and Jeweller. Dedham, Mass. George Henry Guild, son of Jason and Sarah E. (Shep- ard) Guild, was born in Dedham, August 30, 1836. Attended the school two terms. Insurance Broker. Died May 31, 1889. Nathaniel G. Guild, son of Calvin and Margaret (Taft) Guild, was born in Hookset, N. H., May 7, 1837. Attended the school two years ; Married Amy R. Humphreys at Provi- dence, R. I., Nov. 28, 1860. Their children are Charles H., 27 ; Henry F., 26 ; Herbert L., 23 ; Howard R., 21 ; Edward M., 16 ; Alice E., 15 ; Amy Louise, 1. 147 Benefit Street, Providence, B. J. Sarah Frances Hartshorn, daughter of John E. and Mary C. Hartshorn, was born Aug. 11, 1838, in S. Dedham. Attended the school two terms. Norwood, Mass. Mary A. Henderson.
