During the school year 1964-’65 the junior class at D.H.S. was pleased to play an integral part in the kindling of interest and enthusiasm concerning the stu¬ dent-body activities at our school. First it is with great pride that we point to our class elections. Friendly, yet spirited races helped to create an interesting “campaign” and subsequent choices of class officers. Secondly, our junior class officers served with pride and distinction on the council, and we were honored to have our class secretary serve as the council’s first secretary under the new constitution which was drawn up and ratified just this year. Of course, many thanks must be extended to our spon¬ sors, Mrs. Houk and Mr. Journay, who were so helpful during the year. The class officers get much credit for the efficiency with which the class operated, but, it was the sponsors who helped to keep the class members working as an enthusiastic unit.
