FOREWORD Everywhere we look we find evidence of that mystery man. So familiar has it become to people that the phrase KiIroy was here is now an old saying, Not only scrawled on walls, blackboards, and desksg but, on ships at Operation Crossroads, on pyramids in Egypt, on the torch of the Statue of Liberty, on the sides of elephants in circuses, and now it is predicted that if man ever lands on the moon he will find that Kilroy was there firstl But during all thesetravels, Kilroy has managed to get ahead of everyone and stay out of sight.
