DR TICS One of the most interesting of our scholastic departments is that of dramatics, with Mrs. VV. J. Brown as instructor. Limited to seniors the two classes have a gay informolity that helps to create the atmosphere of the stage. The first principles of dramatic art are acquired, as well as those of public speaking and debating. Besides the experience a student gets in acting and producing plays, he also loses self-consciousness in address- ing an audience. That emphasis is not right. Do it againln Mrs. Brown says as she listens intently to ci student reading on the stage. Always first to volunteer, S. Ellner mounts the steps to read her selection. The glove is thrown, the leap is made as these students enact The Glove and the Lion for the members of the class. C. Gaines, VV. Kemmitzer, F. Petty, J. Pitts, and F.
