Long, crooked and Through which we narrow was our path tried to work our math, History, science and grammar was the same With zero sometimes placed beside our name. But this did not keep us back, For, courage then we did not lack. We knew there was a joy untold, In reaching that long, desired-for goal. And now after years of work and strife We have reached the turning point of life. But with that same We look ahead to Twelve long years Twelve long years Twelve long years Until our hair has We prize them all, zeal we had in the past, our future at last. with sighs and tears! with hopes and fears! that with us stay, turned to gray. gloomy and fair.
