Mr. and Miss DHS . 5 .X .. . if -tx . - Lance Aldridge has excelled in sports and other ac- tivities throughout high school. As a freshman, Lance played football and varsity basketball and was elected class favorite. Lance continued playing basketball his sophomore year and also played varsity football. He won district in UIL typing and won the 1985 Business Student-of-the-Year Eagle Award. As a junior, he was All-District and All-Area running back and punter. Lance was also All-District and All-Area in basketball. He was MVP at the Decatur Basketball Tournament, MVP of Wise County in basketball, and won the MVP basketball team award. Lance won district in the shot put and was a regional qualifier. He won the Most Athletic Boy Eagle Award and was voted Most Attrac- tive Boy by the student body. Lance was inducted in- to the National Honor Society as a junior and was also a member of the Spanish Club and OEA. As a senior, Lance continued in football, basketball, and track, and was a football captain. He belonged to the Spanish Club and has been in FCA for four years. Lance's hobbies are skiing and hunting. He says his interests are fast cars and fast women. julie Perkins has filled her years at DHS with building school spirit along with other school ac- tivities. As a freshman, julie participated in basketball, spirit club, and FFA. She continued building school spirit her sophomore year when she made the j. V. cheerleading squad. She continued playing basketball and was secretary of the spirit club. As a junior, julie was elected to the varsity cheerleading squad and became a member of the Crag Staff. Also, she was chosen the junior class homecoming queen nominee and was voted Best-All-Around by the student body. She was elected head varsity cheerleader her senior year and became co-editor of the Crag. She is also a member of FHA and OEA. julie enjoys photography and playing the piano. She likes going out with her friends and going to movies. She also enjoys shopping.
