The cheer- leaders have done a very good job this year. This summer they held a bake Sale which Was Very' SUCCESS- ful. As for sports, they've cheered the Junior boys through a year full of ex- periences that will help them in the fu- ture. There are 6 Cheerleaders with Jan Austin Captain and Jeannie Bradley Co- Captain, The Cheerleaders have done a great job of boosting the Bulldogs' Spirit. They've worked very hard doing this, They plan to do more by having pompom routines, etc., to help make us more proud of our teams and school. The Cheerleaders worked hard this summer to earn money for new pompoms, that are really pretty. They earned money by having abakesale, ice cream social and car wash. They also helped the Quarterback Club by selling tickets for new gym bleachers and doing other things for them. SE IOR HIGH FOOTBALL T AM FIGH TS TILL THE E D! This year's Senior High Football Team started off with a bang this season beating Elkins, Colcord, and Mountainburg. They just didn't seem to come out ahead in some other games even though they played superb football. The team played hard and hustled all year and we are very proud of our team and coach!! The team developed some fine players this year with all the seniors, juniors, and most of the sopho- mores on the main team. Decatur will have most of it's team back again next year and will surely have another fine team. We owe a lot of credit to the seniors who were the team leaders and gave the team alot of spirit. We will hate to see them go this year.
