THE FIRE MARSHALS ARE ALWAYS READY FOR ACTION The Fire Marshals are very important to the school. Their du- ties are to hold the door open for fire drills, shut the win- dows, and close the building and make sure everything is safe be- J fore the students come back in. Top row - Randall Spear, sponsor, Gene Addington, Her- shel Brandon, Chuck Wilmoth, and Hal Jacobs. Junior Paper Staff Typists hard at work. THE JUNIOR PAPER STAFFALWAYS PUTS OUT THE PAPER ON TIME. The Junior Paper Staff this year TRIES to put out the paper regularly but finds it difficult to do some- times. They have a very hard job get- ting information, in- terviewing students, and writing their opin- ions, then typing it all up. But when they put out a paper it is al- ways a good one. 2 , The Paper Staff inspecting the paper before theydistribute it. We are expecting an increase in the member- ship at the end of the year, though. New members are selected from the Sopho- more, Junior, and Senior classes. Certain qualifications must be met before you be- come a part of the Honor Society. You must have at least a 3.0 grade average. Your leadership ability and your conductis also considered. Therefore itis an honor to be a member. Each year the National Honor Society picks out a project. This year for our project a new bulletin board was bought for the school. vs- 5 'f Qf :F -L+
