Spader, R. Lembke, Sharry Knock, adviser. The FHA HERO Impact Project for the 1982-83 school year was Babies, Babies, Babies. The year’s ac- tivities were scheduled around this project. Vickie Spader was a member of the first S.D. Pep Squad. It is sponsored by the March of Dimes and stands for “Peers Educating Peers”. In October the De Smet Chapter of FHA HERO took a field trip to Sioux Falls. They toured the Sioux Valley Intensive Care Nursery, Stuart’s School of Hairstyl- ing, and Hunan's Chinese Restaurant. The Regional Convention was held November 29 at Sioux Valley High School. Sandy Goreham was elected Regional Chairperson which automatically made her a state officer. Action activity events superior winners were Sandy Goreham, Mary Ann Penney, Lana Dan- nenbring, Lisa Sorensen, Angela Collins, Vickie Spad- er and Caryn Penney. Chapter Degree recipients were Goreham, Kathy McAdaragh, Dannenbring, and Lisa Sundberg. The FHA HERO was also in charge of a Drama Club Dinner Theatre. FHA HERO officers. Top Row. L. to R : C.
