The De La Salle Band, under Professor Walter, opened its season at the St. Paul foot- ball game, for the first time a real marching organization. The many long hours of practice were rewarded when it marched in the U. of D. stadium at the Soup Bowl game. St. Paul's parish complimented the group by asking it to lead the parish contingent in the annual Holy Name parade.
