SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of DeLand-Weldon High School, City of DeLand, County of Piatt, State of Illinois, being of superior intellect and possessing a singular aptitude for completing deeds hithertofore impossible, do bequeath because of our extremely charitable natures and motivations of the highest cal- iber and degree, our remembrances of which we hope our predecessors will make the same type of glo- rious use we have, this year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight. I, Laraine Johnson, will my ability for midnight serenades to Marilyn Kidd in hopes she can stay awake. I, Charles Wachob, will my specks to Mr. Benner and my singing ability to Janet Mullvain. I, Carolyn Lowery, will Brad Knisley to his Sophomore girls in hopes he shall grow up with them. I, Roger Tedrick, will my ability to play basketball to Buddy Walters. I, Steve Railsback, will my little black book to Homer Riddle. I, Ray Hoops, will my vocabulary to Mr. Hubbard in hopes, in the future, he will be able to express himself. I, Darlene Stine, will Dad ' s Model-T to Mrs. Pirok in hopes she can make it past Lodge. I, John Gantz, will my fabulous height to Bill McConkey. I, Jerry Jordan, will all my girl friends to Mike White. I, Tom Glenn, will my ability to skip school to Gary Reynolds. I, Danne Buchanan, will my culture and refinement to Vernie Ragland in hopes that in the future he won ' t be so rough and rowdy. I, Joyce Madden, will to Tom Hoops my supreme geometry knowledge in case he decides to teach the class next year. I t Dee Floyd, will my ability to get out of the trouble that I got into to Johnny Followell. I, Shirley Followell, will my ability to go steady with a boy from Clinton to Jo Mason and Larrainne Sheets. I, Fred Gay, will my coordination to Howard Followell in hopes he will be a better basketball player. I, Gary Swanstrom, will my slumber party discovering ability to Tom Hoops. I, Robert Kingston, will my true blonde hair to Ruth Ann Provin. I, Donald Gibson, will my Algebra book to Butch Webb. I, Sue Maden, will my long red hair to Shirley Peevler in hopes that she enjoys being called Red. I, Eldon Barr, will my ability to run to Dale Trimble in hopes he will use it to catch him a girlfriend. I, Fritz Jackson, will my curly hair to Jim Ashton, in hopes he has better luck with the girls than I. I, Larry Helton, will my ability to get along with Jerry to Donna Baker. I, Linda Helton, will my success to all girls who would like it. I, Pat Brinkman, will my diamond to Darlene Burton in hopes she can enjoy it as much as I. I, Beverly Vaughn, will my ability to serve Christ to all students of D-W Senior High in hopes that they will do the same. I, Donna Shaw, will the end of the lower hall to any Sophomore or Junior and may it catch them as nice a Senior as I caught in my Sophomore year. I, Barbara Wilson, will my long hair to Jim Ashton. I, Brad Knisley, will my skating ability to Regina Meredith. I, Eugene Dyson, will my typing ability to Johnny Followell. James Dalton just leaves — he hopes!
