He went to Georgia Institute at Technoiogy for two years and was graduated from Stetson University, where he received his Mas- ter's Degree. In i950 he began teaching in DeLand Junior High, where he was registrar for three years before becoming principai ot D.H.S. Mr. Baiies has done much for DHS.
