SADD works for lives, Chess moves Every day 14 teenagers are killed in accidents related to drunk driving. Reducing this number was the main goal of the 28 members of Students Against Drunk Driving. Activities SADD planned to sponsor included a countywide dance, a car wash and an April assembly. Advisor Denis France stated, Nationwide, SADD has made a difference, but we've still got a long way to go. Going a long way were Chess Club Making his move is Dale Boyett. Working hard to circulate the message, Don't drive drunk are SADD members Amy Edy and Gina Minke. SADD: KFRONT ROWJ Wendy Wong, jeremy OsnerK2nd Rowl Diane Muncy, Shawn Schauer Gina Minke, Melinda Williams QBACK ROWJ Ross Smirfitt, Amy Edy, Charles Iames. members Ioe Madsen and Matt Davis, who advisor Robert Raingruber felt stood out for their refined skills. The eight members competed against each other in occasional tournaments. Senior Mike Montoya was first place in the first tournament and was expected to do well in later events. Future preparation Vocational Industrial Club of America is nationally expanding each year. GDHS had 23 active members who participated in competitions statewide. Advisor Tom Weber commented, The club helps with job placement. At competitions you're always being watched by companies. President was Mary Noel Dufton, vice-president Nick Puccinelli, secretary Niles Billington, and treasurer Scott Sherman. - Toni Iason VICA: KFRONT ROW? During an informal ice cream social at the beginning of the year, VICA members Nick Puccinelli and jeff Hull indulge at The Ice Cream Company.
