Practice Makes P E R F l Who says that putting on a Foot- ball spectacular is easy? Anything that brings success takes practice. Our clubs and organizations at Carter do a very good job. The per- formances that they do are always in step and on time. Our band, better known as the CC Marching Machine, wakes up very early in the morning to start their engines. Their practice usual- ly began at 7:00 in the morning. Before most of the students wake up, the band is practicing on its routines. The Calicos work very hard to perfect their routines. It is very evident in their dance routines. It is very hard to twirl a baton while jumping, and dancing, but the Ma- jorettes use the practice makes perfect approach. They practice until their baton's are just like a part of their hands. At the football games the crowd is always very enthusiastic. The cause of this is the football team, and the cheerleaders.
