CGPPI G SOME Z's After eating lunch in Carter's lunchroom, there is this sudden desire to take a nap, or cop some Z's. This desire is most prominent in fifth, sixth, and seventh periods. Teachers don't help at all, they choose to lecture endlessly on some boring subject. Seeing their students sleep in class is hard on the teachers, too. But it is even harder to catch up in class after waking from a par- ticularly refreshing snooze. To some students, snatching an extra catnap in class is a way to get the sleep they didn't get the night before. It also helps to refresh their energy in order to have some fun after school is over. At any rate, snoozing in class if NOT recomended, unless you are dog- gone tired. 18 A TIME Returning from work on the Executive Assistants Program, Durrand Hill takes forty winks in History class.
