wwboy Hand - Wt The Cowboy Band performed at pep assemblies and at halftime shows at each football game. In addition they performed each time the ROTC presented special programs and at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. At Christmas time the Band gave a program which was presented to the student body. On February 28th they gave a concert in com- bination with the Atwell Band. The bands played two numbers together and then each played three individual pieces. Also on April Sth the Cowboy Band presented another concert with a special guest star. ln May they hosted the Band Festival. 175. ORC ANT7 AVIONS THE 1968-69 COWBOY BAND

They managed to plaster the walls of Carter with signs that have really boosted the spirit. Before the hectic football season began, they spent a week in August perfecting their skill at SMU summer camp. In daily competitions they placed and brought home a handful of ribbons.
