The objectives of the ROTC program are to lay the foundation of good citizenship within the student and to present basic military subjects which will be of value ti the student and to the military service should he or she become a member of th ' armed forces. In keeping with these objectives, the ROTC cadets of Jordan Higi School are encouraged and assisted in the development of leadership and respon sivencss to constituted authority which will assist him or her in the program and j later life in their chosen profession. During the last three years, the ROTC Cadet Corps of Jordan High has been desig natcd Honor I ' nit with Distinction , the highest rating given by the Department o the Army. Also, during the current school year, we have had a number of Cadet presented with awards for their outstanding achievements.
