SCIENCE AND MATH The Science and Math Departments work together to train students in the area of technology. These stu- dents, as they leave Jordan High, will contribute to the future pro- gress of our society. The Science De- partment provides courses in Biol- ogy, Chemistry, and Physiology. L A N G U A G E Our knowledge of other countries and their culture has been broadened through our Language Department. Their interest in expanding our views toward others has en- riched our scope of the world. As Juniors, stu- dents study a period of Eng- lish literature from undent history to the nineteenth century. The seniors study all types of contemporary literature and .American lit- erature. The comhination of all these programs provide the Jordan High graduates with a well-rounded hack- ground in English.
