Academic Life Any student with a problem heads for one of three places: the counseling office, the library, or the nurse ' s office. In the counselinfi office, Ms. Valdez, Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. Carter are all continually aidinfi students in their future course of study, either at Jordan Ilifih or at college. The library, one of the best within the Los Angeles School District, receives students seeking aid in their studies. Mrs. O ' Daly, The librarian, is always ready to aid and advise students on how to use the library. She and her aids daily check books in and out and take care of categorizing all written materials. Mrs. Thompson, the school nurse, receives those students with maladies from an upset stomach to a broken leg. She is continually on the job to promote the physical well-being of the student body.
