BIH leshamt AMICITIA Pramoting and creating friendship in the com, munity is the goal of the Amimtia Club which 15 a branch of the World Friendship Organization, This purpose was accomplished during the past year through school assembiies. dances and an an- nual World Friendship Convention which was held at Canoga Park. The club enrollment is limited to twentyitive and has become one of the more pop, ular organizations of the school. This IS the second year for this organization at Jordan ORIENTAL CLUB Feeling that they had merely scratched the sur- face in their IOA study of Oriental Culture, 3 group of ten students formed an Oriental Club to further their study through ciub activities The club has forty members this year Each Spring a week is set aside on the schooi calendar for Oriental Week. SCIENCE CLUB The activities of the Science Club this year have included a trip to the Richfield Refinery and six regular meetings; At the meetings the members of the Club experimented In various tields of chemv istry and physics It is one of Jordanis oldest clubs.

Outstanding was the Operetta Don Alonsots Treasure, given at Potytechnic Htgh School Auditorium.
