Mastery ofthe culinary arts, knowledge of prop- er cutting, sewing, and tailoring of a garment, and acquaintance with the basic concepts of home management these are the main objectives ofthe home economics department. Students prepare meals in the modern kitchen units and fashion garments under the direction of able teachers.
