Mrs. Lawretta Morris Typing 1-2, .3-4 Mrs. Lois Klessig Typing 'l-2, Shorthand 1-2 3-4 EDUCATIO The business education department of David Douglas offers, a course of study which, it completed successfully by the individual student, will enable him to go out directly into the iob after high school with no further training necessary. Included in this program are two years each of typing and shorthand, and one year each of bookkeeping, office practice, and business law. Douglas has one of the best equipped departments in the state and this year can boast of one room with all electric typewriters, besides the electric machines in each of the other typing rooms.

The student is encouraged to make practical ap- plications of the scientific and mathe- matical f-acts he has learned in the academic areas of his studies. A four year program is offered in Metalworking, Woodworking, and Drafting which gives the students a well rounded background in the Technical Arts. I DUSTRIAI.
