SALLY HOLT, recipient of the most covet- ed award at David Crockett' junior High, serves Crockett as co-editor of Pioneers' Prog- ress and the Buckskin Bugle. She is an active tennis team participant. She serves Crockett as an office aide, is a member of the Pioneer Band and student council. She serves the Span- ish Club in the capacity of treasurer. Sally is involved in the accelerated math and science program and has been recommend- ed for accelerated math, science and English in high school. Her academic standing as an all A honor roll student shows her will- ingness and desire to learn. Sally's positive attitude and readiness to help when there is a job to accomplish shows her value as a most outstanding PIONEER. Danforth Award Manners ROBERT DURRETT, also recipient of the Danforth Award, has proven his untiring loyal- ty to Crockett jr. High through his work as a superior athlete in basketball and track. He led his team to City Championship in basket- ball in the seventh, eighth and ninth grades. .He also is a member of the Spanish Club. Robert maintains outstanding grades in the accelerated math and science program. He has been recommended for accelerated math, sci- ence and English in high school. Robert's outstanding personality makes him a favorite of fellow students and teachers at Crockett.
